A common complaint amongst consumers is the ridiculous price that some companies are charging for their bottled water. Once you see the prices of these extravagant bottled water brands that we’re about to show you, maybe you won’t gripe so much about spending a dollar or two on a bottle of water.

Bottled water has been around for as long as most of us can remember, but it wasn’t until about twenty years ago that bottled water really began to take off as a trend. Statistics show that the amount of bottled water that consumers purchased started to dramatically increase around 1990. Nowadays, you can find a myriad of different brands of bottled water on the shelves of gas stations and convenience stores.

Even those who are committed and prideful in their bottled water drinking habits may cringe at the prices of the 10 most expensive bottled water brands. Here’s an interesting look at the 10 most expensive bottled water brands…

In case these other “semi-affordable” bottles of water didn’t peak your interest enough, maybe a $60,000 bottle of water will… Not only will this bottle of water quench your thirst, but after you can add it to your investment portfolio under the precious metals category. This bottle of water is made 24 karat solid gold. You can also find this bottle of water in gold matte, silver, silver matte, and crystal variations. Each bottle of this luxurious water comes with a leather case. The water itself actually has five milligrams of gold dust inside of it.

2. Fillico Jewelry Water – $219

You may find a bottle of Fillico’s jewelry water at a party hosted by a Hollywood star. The incredible design of the Fillico Jewelry Water bottle is very attractive, boasting a number of Swarovski Elements crystals elegantly placed on the bottle. This water is produced in Osaka, Japan.

3. Hello Kitty Fillico – $100

Hello Kitty, an icon of cuteness represented by a logo of a mouthless cat, partnered up with luxury water brand Fillico to make a special bottle of water. This bottle of water is sprinkled with Swarovski crystals and can be bought in five different colors that represent five themes (friendship, cute, heartful, wish, and sweet represented by red, pink, yellow, green, and lavender respectively).

Bling H2o, created by Kevin G. Boyd is a brand of water that uses Swarovski crystals to highlight the luxuriousness of the frosted bottle that comes along with some of the cleanest water from a Tennessee spring.

5. Hawaiian Deep Seawater – $33.50

Hawaiian Deep Sea Water is made from all of the natural building blocks of life. This water is drawn from 3,000 feet under the surface of the Pacific Ocean. At this depth, the water is clocked at a temperature of 43 degrees and is completely free of pollutants that are typically found closer to the top of the water that come from pollutants from farms, industry, chemicals, and human waste.

9. Tasmanian Rain – $10-11

Tasmanian Rain is a bottle of premium rainwater that is sourced from Tasmania. You can get this exceptional bottle of water delivered to your home or you can find them at luxury hotels and high-end restaurants. It was launched in the United States in 2009. This water is gotten from a remote Australian island that is known for having the cleanest air on the entire planet according to the World Meteorological Organization. Tasmanian Rain is bottled from water that has never touched the ground.

10. Christian Lacroix – Evian – $10

French water company Evian (which ironically spells naïve backwards), launches a new special edition bottle of water each year. Back in 2008, they worked with a famous design house, Christian Lacroix, to design two gorgeous limited edition bottles that they could sell for a premium price. They originally sold this bottle of water at Pusateri’s, Whole Foods, and the Sommerhill Market where they were getting a whopping $10 per bottle.
